Annual Spring Luncheon, Tuesday, May 14, 2024

Our annual Spring Luncheon is coming up on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at the St. Mary Cathedral Parish Hall in Lansing at 12pm, 219 Seymour Ave..  The Luncheon is open to all.  Nikolas T. Nikas will be our speaker this year.  He is President and General Counsel of the Bioethics Defense Fund.  He has directed national legal strategy on the issues of human cloning/embryonic stem cell research, abortion and end-of-life issues since 1992.  He impacts legislative strategy by drafting life-protective model legislation on a host of issues, and by consulting with legislators and policy leaders in Congress and all 50 states.  He will be speaking on “Law and Morality” at our luncheon.  Consider joining us for Mr. Nikas’ message.  There is a discounted cost for the lunch if you renew/join early.  $25 is the cost; $20 for you and guests if you renew/join; $5 for Law Students.

Business Lunch on Saturday, June 22 at 12 noon, Mass

Mass will be at St. Mary Cathedral, 219 Seymour Ave., Lansing at 12noon.  The complimentary pizza business lunch will follow immediately after Mass in the Diocesan Center, Veritas Room.  Members only.  Election of officers will be the main purpose of this meeting.

 

 

The Red Mass 

The 39th Annual Red Mass will be Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at St. Mary Cathedral at 6pm.  Dinner will immediately follow in the Parish Hall. All Judges, Lawyers, Law Students and interested persons are invited.  Judges receive one complimentary dinner.  Contact Diane Arzberger 517-402-1562 or lclguild@gmail.com to reserve a spot.  This year’s Thomas More Award recipient is Randall Petrides of Flint, MI.  He is a retired Genesee County Prosecuting Attorney and the Catholic author of “How the Saints Shaped History”.
